After almost completing the ailerons except for the following:-
1) Hand riveting the trailing edge joggle of the left aileron.
2) Drilling hole for the counterweight ( postponing to later stage)
3) Drilling holes for the trailing edge joggle of the right aileron before hand riveting it.

Here, my wife Connie took time to take this photo with me. She has been particularly patient and tolerant with all the noise and mess and not forgeting cooking and filling up my stomach during course of my project. Today, 25 May 2007 marks the second last day of my annual leave. I will be starting on my elevator soon so look out for any updates.

You may notice i used a cardboard to protect the delicate skin from being scratched by the end result of any pop riveting process from the repelling reaction.

You will notice that this time round, i did not follow the sequence of the assembly. I chose to rivet the inspection hole doubler to the lower skin first.
