Yes, finally I have finished drilling one set of flap . Gotta deburr , corrosion proof plus rivet it later. One done, one to go.

Last but not least, the trailing edge was drilled with its associated wedge-size spar cap sandwiched in between.

Driling the nose ribs with #30 bit except for the far outboard and inboard end due to accessibility to hand riveting at a later stage.

Drilling on the upper front spar began after checking alignment w/ my digital leveler.

Now, the flap was flipped right side up and bounded tightly with few nylon straps.

Oh yes, the reason i have abandoned my wing project for awhile was due to problem with true alignment. Here, i drilled the skin to the forward flap spar.

With bolt spacers in place using An3 bolts, washers and castle nuts.

Making the required bolt spacers (1/2" and 5/8" thick) for the flap track guide arm aand deployment arm.

Checking that the flap was true and plumb before drilling . Here, the skin has been put in place.

All main and nose ribs clecoed in position onto the flap front and rear spar.
